Liangong Qigong Class WarringtonTuesday nights are set to get a little bit more exciting in Warrington. A new body movement system brought over from the east is making waves in the Western world of Qigong.

It’s a combination of using Qigong breathing exercises, Chinese massage (Tui Na), Chinese martial art stretching, traditional Chinese natural medicine that encourages flexibility and toning. Isolating specific target areas with enhanced breathing forms a deeper muscle stretch.

This sytem is incredibly useful for combating modern forms of physical stress including:

  • Neck and shoulder pains
  • Arthritis
  • Spondylosis
  • Joint pains
  • Migraines
  • Digestive disorders (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)
  • Sports injuries
  • Anxiety and stress
  • Immune system

This highly effective practice is taught by Paul Houghton, one of only 6 people qualified to teach this system in the UK.

If you feel now is the time to overcome your deepest stresses and expand into the fullest being you are, then join us for the brand new Liangong Shi-Ba-Fa Qigong class.

I understand that you do a class at Total Fitness Warrington on a Wed morning 10-11am. Can you advise if this is a course or can mbrs just turn up each week. Also could you let me know what type of Tai Chi you do there.

Hi Irene thank you for your email, regarding my Wednesday morning Tai Chi class, if you are a member at Total Fitness you can attend for free (as this class is part of your membership), you could just turn up but just to ensure your place its best to register with the reception (up to 7 days in advance). The type of Tai Chi that I teach at TF varies through numerous routines and styles of both Qigong and Tai Chi (here people are able to progress from one routine to another as they develop) the routines or patterns i teach are accumulaitve in skills, whereby one pattern enhances the following pattern and so on, the best way to go is to come along and have a go,

When people turn up at the TF class for the first time i ask them if they would like to join with the other people at the class (to experience what its like to do a TC class), here some people have been attending for only a number of months while others may have been attending for some time, as a result i have several groups of people practicing different routines all within the same class.

Just to let you know that Thursday evening (15th Dec) at my Bold St class i am having a demonstration evening where people can join in with some practice (details of which are on my web site).
If you are intrested, just turn up (its free, its Xmas) if you would like a chat afterwards just come and see me.

Regards
Paul
